Another Crazy Saturday!

Another weekend is here and we have been blessed with one showing (or more) every weekend since our house went on the market two months ago. Unfortunately, no buyers yet! I just had to share how cute our three kitties are - they really are good natured about getting rounded up and carted out to the car. Once in the car they get to be free and as you can see, they are quite at home in the car. Which is a good thing since we will be driving from Washington state to Tennessee when we move!

Oh The Weather Outside Is Frightful!!

Well, here it is the end of March and Old Man Winter is rearing his ugly head here in the Pacific NW! We woke up to snow this morning. I must say it does look pretty in my gardens though... Maybe next week it will be Spring! Enjoy your weekend no matter what your weather is like!

Where Women Create...

I love the book "Where Women Create". My BFF Donna Lynn recently turned a bedroom into her studio. We both have been inspired by this book and numerous magazines showing our favorite artist's studios. Donna's room is turning out beautifully and she inspired me to take a second look at my studio! Needless to say, I didn't like what I saw! So I decided to get inspired and do something about it!! After painting/detailing my sewing machine cabinet, I got busy sewing! I started with a new ironing board cover (boy, did I need a new one! My old one was sooo disgusting!) and then I made a cover for my sewing machine followed by recovering my sleeve board (a mini ironing board). Thank you Donna Lynn for the inspiration!!
