Just A Touch Of Spring

I was so excited to welcome Spring this past week. We have been blessed with some beautiful warm and sunny days. I was very ready for a bit of Spring color in the garden, so off to the nursery I went! And came home with the back of my car full of plants and bulbs. This planter on my back deck is so pretty with the Rosemary, white snapdragons and lavender colored Johnny Jump-ups.

These narcissus bulbs just popped open as soon as I put them in the planter, also on my back deck.
My front entrance is ready to welcome Spring...

I made this wreath a couple of years ago, and it survived the trip in the moving van all the way to Tennessee! I love the hydrangeas, roses and eggs.

This urn has more narcissus, a pink hyacinth and Rosemary. It's being guarded by one of my many bunnies.

A sweet blue and white birdhouse, made by my BFF, Donna Lynn. I was so excited to find the yellow primrose, you see, they don't get primroses in the nurseries down here as early as they did back in WA. I was spoiled there, we used to see them around Valentine's Day! They are just now arriving in the stores here.

A purple primrose and a very fat bunny (maybe she's preggers).

Aren't these amazing? They smell heavenly.

I love gardening and being outside...the birds have been singing away and just hearing them makes me happy! I hope you are enjoying this new season of Spring.

Hugs,

Victoria Lynn

Dearest Victoria Lynn,
Your front entrance is so inviting, wish I could fly there and knock on your beautiful red door and give you a big hug! Sure miss gardening together, and getting rained on too...I know you don't miss that part, but I do!

We never did warm up much today, think it got around 45', sure wish we had just a bit of your warmth, I know if we did my daffodils would finally open up. I had no idea that they open and close with the cold, weird, really weird!

Well I am off to bed, I got my attic cleaned up and have a whole list to complete tomorrow.

Take care and talk to you in the AM!
BFF, Donna Lynn

Good morning Victoria Lynn :)

Your front door looks so welcoming! It's still not warm enough to have flowers outside here, so it was wonderful to see yours :)

Glad to see you posting again! Happy Spring :)

Hi Sweetie,
I always enjoy visiting your blog and checking up on all that you've been up to. I love all the flowers, and of course the bunny. I keep walking outside looking for my flowers, they are coming slowly, but I will be so glad to see them.
Have a great rest of the week.
God Bless,
Charlie

You always do such a nice job of decorating, both inside and out. It's such fun to see what you've done and you make everything look so easy and hassle-free. I can just envision the back of the car full of "stuff" from the nursery and then the next thing we see are these pretty urns in all their finery. Beautiful!!
