Recently I decided I was getting tired of my white dining room set. This is an old set that was once dark oak and I painted it white in my "Shabby Chic" stage. It had gotten pretty dinged up in the move from Washington to Tennessee and was looking pretty worn out.
Ta-da! Here it is! Looking all fresh and new and updated! I absolutely love it. It think it'll do for the next couple of years. What do you think? Do you prefer black or white?
Have a blessed week!

Hi Victoria Lynn ~ I must admit, it really has come to life with it's new colour. Black is back!
I ADORE YOUR TABLE, IT LOOKS FABULOUS!!!! YAY, so glad you got it all done, and yes, finally I get to see the after...finally! Did I say finally yet? OK, moving on, this look really fits your home and the way you decorate now, I am leaning towards painting mine too, I just am not sure if it will suck up all the light cause of my dark paint and woodwork, HUMMMMMM, will have to contemplate that one some more.
Man did I wish you were in Sumner today with us, I didn't even take a camera, NUTS, oh well, the girls probably wouldn't of understood the blogging picture thing anyway. You would of loved shopping in Folk Art Gatherings, it was over the top good this year!
OK, better go and upload Don's bumper pictures so I can send them on to you!
I think I like the black better. It looks so shiny and new. I bet it was a challenge, doing all that painting.
Love the black! Think you made the right decision.
WOW!!! i would never have thought about painting it black, but wow...it really makes the color pop in the room..looks FANTASTIC!...{{{{sneaks away to buy some black paint of my own}}}}}
I love the black! It looks so rich against the walls. You did a great job!!
