Welcoming Autumn

Welcome Autumn! I was blessed to welcome the first day of Autumn in the Seattle area. I was spending the day with my BFF Donna Lynn. It was a glorious Northwest day with moderate temperatures and a blue, blue sky. We met our other Lynn sister, Diana Lyn for lunch at the local Mexican restaurant. We had a fun lunch with lots of girl talk!

I returned to my home in Tennessee on Tuesday evening. I was greeted by a sad front door with only a single wreath claiming the season. I soon had to remedy the situation! A quick trip to Walmart, some dirt and empty urns, and wa-la!! A welcoming Autumn front entry! I do love Autumn! Even though it's still 85 degrees here, I know the cool fall weather can't be far behind!

What's that...a curious on-looker! Abby gives her stamp of approval! Right now she's wishing she were outside stalking the mockingbird in the yard! Sorry Abby, remember, you're an INDOOR kitty! Hope ya'll are enjoying the first week of Autumn!
Hugs,
Victoria Lynn

Abbie, the little snarky cat who WOKE ME UP at 6:30 this morning because she heard those birds. ;~)

Our front porch looks awesome...as do our decorations in the house! Yay for "fall weather" being 85 degrees! ;~)

Ready for Italian food and the new Nicholas Sparks movie?

Love,
Rach :~)

Hi Victoria. If you think it's hot in Tenn, then you need to come down to Miami~lol! It's about 90 degrees today and I think the humidity level is about 90 as well. Your porch looks so inviting:-) ~XO~ Janet

Awwww, that last photo is a keeper!!! Your front entryway looks beautiful! I have to say I'm missing the warm weather... It has turned cool here in New England and while many (most) people love it, I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to summer and eating out on the deck each night...

Yes, that is our little front door entryway in my blog banner. Thanks for the kind words. I'm going to be posting a little blog giveaway son Sunday and one of the items is a welcome mat similar to the one on my banner, so please stop by and sign up if you're interested!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Donna

Dearest BFF!
Love the fall decor, the mums are so wonderful, and how can you bet WAL-MART for the prices on them???

Are you going to get a bigger wreath? When we were at WAL-MART yesterday, there were some pretty great looking ones, that a spritz of "you know what" would make look like a million bucks! Did you check them out??

Hope you had a lovely day today, hope you got your lawn mowing all done!

Miss you sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!

XO,
Donna Lynn

Hi Victoria, I'm so glad you had a safe and great trip. I saw wedding pictures on Donna's site and it looked like it turned out beautiful.
Your entry on the front porch looks great, now I have to get my front porch back in order after Ike and I don't think mums would make it look much better.
Have a great week,
Bonnie

It sounds and looks like your getting into the swing of things with Autumn.

Sometimes it just takes being away to know when something is missing.

Glad you had a great time with Donna.

Hi Victoria Lynn,
Your entryway looks wonderful. I too went to Walmart yesterday, bought some orange lights that I put around my topiary, one pumpkin and one mum plant and only spent $14.00...I love Walmart. I bet you had a great time. Let's talk soon.

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

Hi Victoria,
I love the way your front entryway looks. It makes me want to do something with mine, guess I'm going to have to go to Wal-mart and check things out. In class next week we are going to be painting a cartoon witch on a gourd, but I think I want some mums and such too.

Hope you are having a great week.
hugs, Charlie
